Following the Conference on “Strengthening Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation through Research and Innovation” held on 4 May 2017 in Valetta under the auspices of the Maltese Presidency of the Council of the European Union with the support of the European Commission, the Ministers responsible for Research and Innovation from the Member States of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and of the European Union (EU) released the Valletta Declaration.
